After Pai, I continued on to Mae Hong Son, which is just east of the
border with Burma.

While in Mae Hong Son, I took a motorbike to about 3 miles from
the border with Burma. There, there are many refugees from Burma, including this long neck Karen family. After wandering
through one of the villages, I visited with this family for a couple of hours. Two of the daughters were happy to speak the
English that they know. Just in front of their house, the mother also sells textiles that she weaved.
