From May of 1997 to July of 1999, I served as an Agriculture and Nutrition Volunteer with the Peace Corps. The country, the
Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). For Phase I training, we spent a month in the state of Pohnpei. Our group, 31 volunteers,
were then divided up between the 4 states of the FSM and the country of Palau. I was sent to the state of Chuuk for 6 weeks
of Phase II training, then remaining there for 24 months of service.
